Electromagnetic Flow Meter

This electromagnetic flow meter consists of a sensor and a converter. Working based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, it measures volumetric flow of conductive liquids with conductivity over 5 µS/cm. It is an inductive instrument for conductive media flow measurement. Apart from common conductive liquids, it can measure strongly corrosive fluids such as strong acid and strong alkali, as well as homogeneous liquid-solid two-phase suspensions including slurry, pulp and paper pulp. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, paper-making, environmental protection and food industries, as well as municipal administration, water conservancy construction and river dredging projects.

1. No resistance parts inside the measuring tube, zero pressure loss and low risk of clogging. Proper selection of electrode and liner materials can meet corrosion and wear resistance requirements.
2. Measuring accuracy is barely affected by fluid pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, conductivity or surrounding environment. It delivers high accuracy, stable and reliable operation.
3. Adopts modern A/D conversion technology and high-performance VLSI chips. Signals are isolated, filtered, amplified and digitally processed to display measured values precisely.
4. It automatically monitors and corrects measurement-related parameters including zero drift. Segmented flow coefficient setting and correction across full range broaden the turndown ratio, improve intelligence and accuracy, and greatly enhance stability.
5. Equipped with EEPROM data storage for saving and querying historical data. Three historical recording modes are optional for users.
6. Power-off protection for flow readings and process alarm functions. Flow direction can be configured, so installation is not limited by fluid direction and bidirectional measurement is available.
7. Backlit dot-matrix dual-line display, showing instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, working status, parameters and measurement units simultaneously.
