The integrated digital temperature transmitter converts signals from industrial thermocouples and RTDs into standard output signals. It adopts two-wire transmission and can be mounted directly inside the junction box of thermocouples and thermal resistors. With shock resistance, moisture resistance and strong anti-interference capability, it is widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical and other industries.
Product Features
- Sealed with silicone rubber or epoxy resin, it is shock-proof and moisture-proof, suitable for installation in harsh field environments.
- Installed inside the junction box of thermocouples and RTDs for local application. It directly outputs 4-20mA or 0-10mA signals for remote transmission. It reduces high cost of compensation cables and improves signal anti-interference during long-distance transmission.
- Thermocouple transmitters support automatic cold junction temperature compensation.
- High accuracy, low power consumption, wide operating temperature range with stable and reliable performance.
- Wide application. It can be integrated with thermocouples and RTDs for field mounting, or used as functional module in testing equipment and instrument panels.
- The intelligent version allows adjustment of display direction according to user requirements. It can show medium temperature, sensor value variation, output current and percentage value.
Working Principle
Thermocouple or RTD sensor converts measured temperature into electric signal and sends it to the transmitter’s input network, which includes zero adjustment and thermocouple compensation circuits. After zero trimming, the signal is amplified by operational amplifier. The amplified signal passes through V/I converter to output 4-20mA DC current. The other channel goes through A/D converter and transmits data to the display head. Two types of linearization circuits with feedback design are available. Multi-segment linear approximation plus non-linear correction circuit for thermocouple sensors; multi-segment linear approximation correction for RTD sensors. There are two display versions: LCD type with two-wire output, LED type with three-wire output.
